(Well @least for the students. We have a couple of staff days.)
2. I am giving away awards to my top students in each class. I am also giving away awards such as: Parrot on my shoulder award, Cheerleader Award, and the Shoelace award to mention a few. These awards come with props like inflatable parrots and shoelaces. I love middle school.
3. Most of my room is packed for the big room. I just need to pack my paperwork, desk, etc. Thank you middle school boys with too much energy. I salute and thank you.
4. Parents, as some of you other teachers may know, can sometimes be one of the hardest things about this job. During these first couple of years I had some parents that especially affected me personally.
Both of them have come up to me thanking me for all I've done and said that they, "Gave the highschool my name for strategies because I had to learn so much in such a little time."
Slightly backhanded? Maybe.
Will I take it? YEP.
5. I recently painted my toenails. This is not a huge thing. But I hadn't for quite some time (since my wedding) and when you so long without it, and then you're surprised when you glance down and you have bright pink shining up at you it's puts a little smile on your face.
6. I am more likely than not going to get emotional today over the last day of school. I'm alright with that.
7. It is GORGEOUS out today. Something you just have to love.

Happy last day of school!!! I love painting my toe nails in the summer, but I need some more fun polish, like hot pink or orange or something. Hope you get to enjoy the sun today!
