Tail Wagging Tuesday

It's that time of the week again! Time for Tail Wagging Tuesday!
This week is, "the look" that you get from your dog.

Bruin has a few good looks. Not too many, but just enough up his sleeve that confirm my belief that he is a little person covered in fur.

Exhibit A:
"I love you and want nothing more than to be at your side, and love you if you'll love me," Look.
I'll stick by your side no matter what, right after you take my picture...
This loyalty will grow enormously if you take me with you in the car..
Undying loyalty face is not to be confused with the "That food you have would look great IN MY MOUTH" look.

Exhibit B
The "Ugh. Seriously? I'm so exhausted." Look
I like going on adventures...except when I'd rather be on your bed.
I just got comfortable. I'll pose for just this one picture then I'm going back to bed.

And of course my favorite one, that he chooses to whip out every once in a while.

Exhibit C
The , "I know exactly what you're talking about, and I'm going to smile and laugh about it with you." look.
Smile for the camera.
Bruin always gets a good laugh when he plays dress up as Lady Gaga. (In case you were wondering yes, that is a chair he is sitting in, and yes, he is absolutely comfortable and happy to stay seated in it for long periods of time. Just as long as we're chilling out with him. I mean come on people, are you seriously not convinced yet?)

So the question is, once you figure out your dog is more of a person than he is canine, are you allowed to send them into the workforce immediately to start bringing in another paycheck? Or does he have to complete a certain amount of years of school beforehand? How long until they get a highschool degree?

I guess I won't jump the gun. I have a feeling he might struggle with the kindergarten screening when he has to use the scissors to cut the thick paper. He can escape from our locked car, find his way into the grocery store and track us down in the correct aisle; but I really doubt he can problem solve his way to growing thumbs.

Maybe.

Until then, we'll let you keep living the good life Bruin.

Here's looking at you kid.

  1. Hi Tricia!

I found your blog from your post on facebook. This is my first blogging experience and I can't think of a better person to pop my blog-cherry than a Mrs. Cherry.

I love this and think its a great way for me to keep in touch with the going-ons of your life!

This post reminded me of a book I just read called "The Art of racing in the Rain" by Garth Stein. Its great, its written from a dogs perspective. The dog argues that humans evolved from dogs, not monkeys and then when a dog dies he comes back as a human. Its adorable and I think you should probably check it out.

    Miss and love you!

  2. Ummm so I totally read that book like 2 weeks ago. WHAT A COINCIDENCE THAT YOU MENTION IT! I always thought that Bruin was a person and after reading that book it was pretty much confirmed. I try and shove that book into the hands of every person I meet that can read at all. I was actually thinking about blogging about it sometime this week because it is just that amazing!

I'm super excited that you enjoy the blog and were able to check it out and read it. Miss you too and I hope you keep reading!
